Why Green Tech

Almost every entrepreneur hears about the need to define a niche when getting started in a new business. What person or company can you best help with your endeavors and the services you provide?

Letting go of the desire to please everyone or appeal to every market can help you hone your message. When you speak directly to a more specific audience, everyone can more easily understand what you have to say and what you have to offer. Although you might, at times, work with people outside that target group, knowing exactly who you feel compelled to serve makes you more empowered and impactful for everyone.

As a deep confidence coach, I work with emerging leaders in green tech to help them make a more significant impact in the world. I help them develop the confidence to climb over the walls that have held them back, so that they can not only withstand but create meaningful change.

A few years ago, when I first started working as a coach, some people suggested I reach out to singers to specifically offer help with confidence in performance anxiety. Given my many connections in that realm, I suppose it seemed an obvious choice. Although I do draw on my vast experience as a high-level performer to inform some of my methods and skills as a coach and mental fitness trainer, that is not my path. Now and for some time, everything in me screams that I need to support emerging leaders in tech and environmental science — for our ever-changing world.

I feel called.

When I named my company Time for Change Enterprises, I did it as one of the converted. I used to hate change. After years of working to transform myself into someone who loves it, I now deeply understand how much we need people like me to help people through all of the unprecedented developments altering our landscape on a daily basis.

With the most exponential shifts coming from technology and climate change on a regular basis, we need to equip the emerging leaders who will shape our future. Aiming for survival will not get us there. We have to work to thrive together so that we can face these challenges with the enthusiastic mindset required to make it past the finish line.

I am here to help the change-resistant become changemakers. Nowhere do we need this skill more than in green tech.

I feel at home and inspired here.

From a young age, my dad introduced us to technology none of my friends had. As a true xcennial, I gleefully caught fireflies under the Milky Way, while following the progression from the Atari 800 and dot matrix printers to bulletin boards, Telnet, the Internet as we now know it, and livestreaming.

I love this planet to the point that my heart aches for it, and I adore the fabulously nerdy technology and technologists who keep us moving forward. I have no doubt that the solutions to keeping humanity thriving on Earth will require creative solutions that keep tech and the environment in a synergistic cycle of exploration, innovation, and implementation.

I have the skills needed to help this niche specifically.

As a coach, I’ve honed my ability to really hear and guide my clients to what they really want. More importantly, I know how to help brilliant, resourceful people harness their own inner world to get out of their own way and clear the path to fulfill their mission in life.

At this moment in time, I know I can help people navigate and create the meaningful change this world needs. I’m here to help people launch their personal uprisings to make a world where we can all thrive, together. Where better to start than here, with my niche?
